Printer Information

After its initial introduction in April 2003 to the European and Asian markets the HP1150 personal monochrome LaserJet® printer is now available in the US. Intended as a replacement for the popular LaserJet® 1200, the 1150 is basically a non-chipped version of the HP1300 (April 2003), and is available in only one configuration (non-network ready*). It was targeted at small work teams and business users with advanced printing needs as a low-cost alternative for the laser printer market.

The HP1150 print speed is rated at 18 ppm for letter (17 ppm for A4), compared to the 1300’s 20ppm (19ppm for A4). Both the 1150 and 1300 have a first page time out of less than 10 seconds and a resolution of 1200x1200 REt. Both feature instant-on fusing for a fast, no warm-up delay.

Consumables

The 1150 series printer was released with a standard yield (Q2624A) and high yield toner cartridge (Q2624X). Ultimate Image has released the high yield version of the 24X cartridge due to its increased cost per copy savings over the standard yield 24A cartridge.
